Common Questions

Do I get points towards the Schreiber Foods Wellness Program for completing a screening through Color?

Yes. Your Color benefit is part of the Schreiber Foods Wellness Program. Completing a Color at-home FIT or HPV test, or a mammogram or colonoscopy – which Color can help you schedule – will get you 1 point towards earning your 2024 HSA Contribution when completed and submitted into Asset Health by November 30, 2024.

What happens after I enroll?

After completing a short assessment, you’ll receive your personal care plan, access to a dedicated care team who can assist you with cancer screenings and questions, and a gift. A few days later, you will receive your Color Welcome Package, which includes at-home tests, if applicable

How much does the Color program cost?

All at-home tests and Color care team services are generously covered by Schreiber Foods and UHC.

Any services provided by non-Color providers, like mammograms and colonoscopies, will be billed through your insurance. Your care advocate will work with you to find the most cost-effective providers for these services, with most provided at no out-of-pocket cost to you.

What happens if I have an abnormal screening result?

Cancer screening tests are designed to detect early signs of cancer or conditions that may lead to cancer. An abnormal result means that the test identified something outside of the normal range. It does not necessarily mean that cancer is present. Additional follow-up is commonly needed to better understand the result.

Your care team will be available to answer any of your questions and help you receive follow-up testing to clarify your results.

What if I already have a primary care provider, ob/gyn, or specialist I'm working with?

We are happy to make it even easier for you to work with your existing care team! For example, we can order your mammogram or colonoscopy so you can skip a visit to the doctor. We are also able to share test results with additional doctors at your request.

Will Schreiber Foods have access to my personal health data?

Color will not share your personal health data with your employer. Your health data will be treated in strict compliance with all legal and privacy obligations and Color’s policies on privacy

Is this program useful to me if I’ve had cancer or if I have increased risk for cancer?

Yes! Our doctors, genetic counselors, and care advocates have deep experience in cancer care. Whether you have a question about your screening plan or are looking for more information, we are here to help.

How does Color integrate with my other benefits?

If you or your family member has a cancer diagnosis Color will refer you to Carrum Health, another benefit you are offered through Schreiber Foods. Through Carrum, you’ll receive hands-on care navigation services to answer any questions you have about your diagnosis and to ensure you are getting the best care possible. In many instances, Carrum Health will also connect you to one of their Center of Excellence cancer treatment partners, where you can receive white-glove high-quality cancer treatment with zero out of pocket costs.
